BOOKING CONDITIONS

Price List

The Borgo d’Itria price list is dynamic and has no fixed prices, as it depends on the period selected and any promotions.
Prices are calculated in Euros and include VAT, the accommodation treatment chosen in the booking itself and any options requested.

Tourist tax

Rates do not include any tourist tax, which must be paid directly at the hotel upon check-out.
The province of Bari has introduced a tourist tax of €1.00 per person per night. All children under the age of 12 (not yet 12 years) are exempt from payment.

Check in

The rooms are available to guests from 14.30 until 19.00.
Should your expected arrival be later than the indicated time, please inform reception so that we can best organise reception at the hotel Late arrival will incur a surcharge.

Check out

Rooms must be vacated by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure. Should the guest wish to postpone his or her departure time and retain the room subject to availability, a surcharge is payable. In the event that the room is not available for late check-out, the guest may stay at the hotel and continue to enjoy the services offered without paying any extra charge.

Late arrivals/early departures

In the event of a late arrival or early departure, unless agreed with the facility, no reductions are granted. Only the price of an overnight stay will be charged, amount for empty beds

Payments

Refundable by Credit Card and/or bank transfer within 15 days after check-in.

A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking; the balance is due no later than the 15th day prior to check-in. Should the balance not be received on time, the reservation will be cancelled and non-refundable.

Cancellation Conditions

No show 100%; penalty of 100% in all other cases of cancellation after the deadline.
Borgo d’Itria reserves the right, in full and unconditional freedom, to assess events that may justify the non-application of the penalty provided for in these general terms and conditions or, as an exception, in the conditions of the special rates chosen at the time of booking.

Observance of chamber composition

Reservation requests made by the customer must indicate the exact number of guests, regardless of their age. Borgo d’Itria is not liable for errors entered by the customer in the booking request. When checking in, the number of guests must correspond to the number of guests indicated by the customer when making the reservation request.

At the time of check in, should there be more guests than those envisaged in the reservation, regardless of their age, Bogo d’Itria will check availability:

– In the event of a lack of availability, do not allow excess guests to enter, and charge the total cost of the stay to the guest, whether or not they stay at the hotel.

– In the event of availability, guests arriving at the facility will be placed in a more suitable room, thus accepting a price variation linked to the room type

Hygienic and sanitary observances for entry into the swimming pool
are compulsory. For very small children, containment nappies must be used.

Animals

Borgo d’Itria allows small animals (adult weight less than 10 kg and height at withers between 26 and 40 cm) into the facility. The management reserves the right, depending on the case, to change the room assignment in the presence of animals, in order to ensure greater compliance with the characteristics of the facility and the animals’ own needs.

A surcharge of € 30.00 per night will be applied and must be paid at check-out.

Should there be any damage caused by the presence of a pet or should the condition of the room require extraordinary cleaning, or should there be any additional damage to the room or the facility in general, repair costs may be charged.

Daily room cleaning, especially due to the latest health and safety protocols, requires airing the rooms, so we would not want to risk your pet inadvertently escaping or becoming frightened by the presence of strangers. It would be preferable for your pet to be removed from the room during cleaning, and we also ask you to store your pet’s food and belongings in a closed, safe place.

Responsibilities of the facility and the guest

It is the intention of Borgo d’Itria to reassure the guest that all services included in the reservation are arranged with the utmost care. Borgo d’Itria assumes all liability for any shortcomings occurring during the stay, should the cause be attributable to its failure to do so. The guest will have to prove that there has indeed been a breach on the part of Borgo d’Itria if they wish to make a claim.

The guest undertakes to use the services in accordance with the law, morality, good customs and public order as well as the provisions of these General Terms and/or Conditions. Consequently, he/she is forbidden to use the services with purposes or effects that are unlawful and/or contrary to the provisions of these Terms and/or General Terms and Conditions, harmful to the rights and/or interests of third parties, or which may in any way damage the services, Borgo d’Itria and/or its image.
